blizzards & birthdays

It's such a lovely day to live in Indiana. The Southern portion of the state, where my baby lives, is currently banned from most means of transportation due to inches of ice covering all the roads. In fact, when he went in to work today at the armory, he got activated, meaning that he won't be home until probably friday :( weather pending. In the North, where I live, we've gotten over a foot of snow in the past 24 hours or so and on top of this are also experiencing 50mph winds. Let me tell you, it's a pain in the rear! What's most interesting to me is that in Kentucky and such, tornadoes and thunderstorms are wrecking havoc while just a bit further north we're experiencing such harsh, cold weather. Mother Nature never ceases to amaze me :) Snowpocalypse 2011, bring it on!!!

it's nasty out!!
this is after day one gave us a few inches of snow and this is what was to come next!!

Today is Erich's 30th birthday. Unfortunately he isn't around to celebrate it with us. E- I love you and I am so thankful to have you watching over me and guiding me everyday. Happy Birthday E, I love you!

Have a wonderful day. For those of you dealing with snowpocalypse, stay in, stay safe! and stay warm! And for those of you who are not, consider yourself lucky!!!

love,

mojo
